Set the background color of your computer wallpaper. Go to the "Tools" panel and select the "Paint bucket" tool. Go to the "Color Swatches" panel and select the color you would like as your wallpaper background. Go to the center of your wallpaper file and click anywhere on the canvas. The entire file should now be your chosen color.

Enter "1280 pixels" in the "Width" field and "960 pixels" in the "Height" field. Resolution should be at "72 pixels/inch" with a color mode of "RGB 8 bit."
